Ok. A meet up organising thread :)

Child friendly pubs in town- wetherspoons, possibly the orange tree?

I know the Goose at Gameston haven't been for a while but seems about the same. Large place but nice & large car park off the main road.

There's a map on the link, see if it's easy for any/most of you to get to, or if you'd prefer something more central.

I'd struggle with that as a non driver

I can do mon, wed and fri.

Booberella - I don't know where in Bridgford you live, but the Goose is 30mins walk from central avenue or the number 7 runs very close.

Not everyone (including myself maybe :( )is going to be able to make it - but we can always have an excuse to have a 2nd get together. It would be good to get as many people as possible though.

Seeing Mibby started organising it - think we should go with thursday or friday. Who is free which day?

I was also thinking a wetherspoons in town, I drive so can get to gamston too no problem but if people would prefer town that is also good.

Think we need a play area for the little ones.
If gamston is to far out how about riverside farm pub? Next to toys r us by riverside retail park

Can't do Weds, Thurs or Fri daytime as that's when I work - boo! Anyone up for evening meet up as well?

I live 40 mins walk from central ave in the opposite direction to the goose
Riverside also pretty hard for me to get to so have fun and I may be able to get to a second one!

Can't do Friday daytime but would make an evening do or daytime Tues.

Not too familiar with the city centre but give me a postcode & MR Google will get me there!

herbietea I would think more the merrier- I was wondering if there were enough mners in Lincs/Leics/Rutland area to do a seperate meet-up?

I'm always happy for a night out too!

I don't drive and am in Bulwell but happy to help with bus route finding etc so as many people as possible can get there if we can.

I can't do a meetup, but I'm curious to know if us Beestonites recognise each other.
