Gutted I missed actual dancing :( Thanks for a top night out though. You will all be pleased to hear I felt shit today despite only drinking three drinks, AND I had to attend a 3yo's birthday party Grin

I'm still up.. But knackered. Did drive to London this evening in record time though after collecting smallest and most annoying of my offspring.

MartyrStewart · 27/11/2011 23:18

So glad you all had a good time - I missed it this year but will start saving to go to the next one.

DollyTwat · 27/11/2011 23:22

I'm still up, meant to go to bed ages ago but wine seems to have made me feel much better!

Tortington · 28/11/2011 00:30

RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/11/2011 07:04

We did walk miles didn't we? And I did that in my boots that I didn't think I could walk in!

I did have a fairly early night I must admit and am now attempting to kick my own arse into gear. Grin

It's not currently going too well

Bellavita · 28/11/2011 07:21

I went to bed at 10pm last night

My whole body hurts still.... However work have given us an Xmas shopping day today and I just may meet a colleague/friend for a glass of bubbles in town Grin

Martyr, yes start saving!

Tortington · 28/11/2011 07:24

Oh don't be envious Custy, I have had to make the hours back up in order to get the day off... But the day has fallen right being at the end of this weekend.

Hope your day goes well.

fivegomadindorset · 28/11/2011 07:37

Enjoy, I am going second hand car shopping this morning and trying to sort out DD's birthday party this afternoon.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 28/11/2011 08:47

I am cleaning today.

No, no dont envy me....

Bellavita · 28/11/2011 08:52

I will Ruby Grin. I struggled to hear anything too over the music.

Actually in our admin office we have some Roller Soles for sale they are little ballet pumps that roll up for smallness/neatness in your bag for the end of the night when your feet have had enough. I should have bought some.

BIWI · 28/11/2011 09:11

Thank goodness it wasn't just me who couldn't hear anything!

Could we possibly have it a bit quieter/a quieter area next time, so that we can talk a bit more?

[old git]

fivegomadindorset · 28/11/2011 09:21

The loudness got to me aswell. Definitely vote for a quieter area next time.

Hullygully · 28/11/2011 09:21

Yars. My throat hurts from shouting over the music. The lovely sweet dj man didn't unerstand the concept of turning the knob counterclockwise AT ALL.

Bellowing DANCING QUEEEEENNNNNNNNNNN, YOUNG AND SWEEEEEETTT ONLY SEVENTEEEEEEEENNNNNNN may not have helped.

RockStockAndTwoOpenBottles · 28/11/2011 09:30

I'm on it. As an act of total selflessness I am going to test as many bars as possible, most likely with my able assistant, Shirley, to find one that suits all needs: Gimmers, Singers, Drunkards, Easy Access for All, Quiet Corners for the Aged, and a Vodka Lube for StayCool. It will be a long and very hard slog, but being the kind hearted soul that I pretend I am, I shall come up with the goods. Grin

I hate Mondays. It is rather chilly in London Town and I haven't been in these temps for about 8 years.

notpodd · 28/11/2011 09:30

I have a sore throat as well...

RockStockAndTwoOpenBottles · 28/11/2011 09:36

Yes, I'll bet you do, but your singing was great Wink

QuintessentialMercury · 28/11/2011 09:37

It was too loud.

I had loads to drink. 4 glasses of soda water with ice and lemon. 2 pints of diet coke. And 3 - 4 small glasses of red wine.

Still trying to work out if the reason I felt iffy yesterday was the amount of liquid, or the fact that I had mistakenly drunk balsamico vinegar instead of wine... Confused

And my deepest apologies for thinking Custy was Mamazon.
