Hello, it might be a bit of a stretch but I've only just turned 30 . DD is 2 months but we're very mobile.

I'm based in Ladbroke Grove whereabouts are you?

IckleB · 11/12/2005 21:35

I always look on here for people wanting to meet in west london, but most people seem to be east. I don't know Ealing very well, but I'm open to suggestions if you want to meet for coffee (may leave park walking until I know you're not a mass murderer )

IckleB · 11/12/2005 21:50

Hi, I was just washing up and thinking the same!!! Coffee is good, the parks may be a bit ambitious in this weather. Tues/Fri are best this week for me, can't really do next week as half term. Is Marylebone/Baker street area easy for you to get to?

Hi, Sorry I am new to this Mumsnet thing, how do you think it is best to arrange to meet?....do we really want the details on the sight.....the mass murderer issue?

I'm ancient.. but live in Ealing... any good?

(oh, I do have kids!(not a hairy a**ed trucker!!)
ages 6 + 3 .. but prefer meetups without 'em tbqh!)

There was an Ealing meetup thread once - so there are a few of us around (and they are all younger than me!).. so maybe we can reignite it?!!!!!

IckleB · 11/12/2005 22:26

Hi, that sounds good I always appreciate time away from the DD's!!! mostly away from the hubby! same prob though...feel a bit worried about meetings arranged over the net, how have you arranged meetings in the past? may have to reply tomorrow, I appear to have a little one who is wide awake!

Usually arrange meets by CAT-ing each other, and then sorting it via email. If you go up to the top of the page there is an option for 'Contact Another Talker'.

This week is very busy for me, so I wouldn't be able to meet you until after christmas. Sounds hopeful with the other Ealing mums though

IckleB · 12/12/2005 16:56

Hi, after xmas is good for meet-ups, its a busy time for all of us I suppose. I will have a look and start CATing in a few weeks. And yes if we could get a few more people together that would be great

Hi there,
can anyone explain what "CAT-ing" means.
I would like to try to arrange a meet-up for Chiswick and would like to know more about how to do this.
By the way, I could be interested in West London meet up too, but am over 30 and will be mum for first time in a few days.
If you have advises on how to organise a meet up, please let me know.
Thanks.
