We are hoping to have Mumsnet meet-up in Northampton on Saturday the 13th August.

Meet from 10.30 for coffee, cake and chat, have lunch around 12.30, if the weather is nice a walk to the local park (there is an Umbrella Fair on that day), back for tea at 3.30 and home after that.

Catering costs, say £5.00?

Can we have an idea of who would like to come and whether there are any specific dietary requirements.

Please specify whether you will be bringing children and what age, so we can find some toys/activities.

Anything I have forgotten? Please tell me Grin

£5.00 for adults I think we did last time. I don't want anybody not to come because of finance. People brought things as well if I remember correctly. I know I brought a lemon drizzle cake. I was so new and very uncertain about the whole MN thing, but everybody was utterly lovely.

Am hoping to, possibly with 2 children...

DutchOma · 04/08/2011 08:57

Right, I have now heard that Dippy can't come. So I have:- PositiveAttitude who would definitely like to come, BES and TACP who can come and three or 'possibles', Mary, Soozi and Amber.
Not heard from Mufti as she is on holiday, or NQGU or anybody else that I contacted from the previoius meet-up.
What do we want to do? Go ahead or cancel? We could go ahead with just a few people, I don't mind, everything is set.
But I think it would be sad if people only came because they had said they would and would feel mightily relieved if they didn't have to.
I will make an 'executive decision' on Monday and let you all know about it.
Lots of love and prayers for all

Me and the kids are coming :)

DutchOma · 06/08/2011 21:33

Right, that's it then, we're on! Roll up, roll up.
My plan is to do baked potatos for lunch with cheese, coleslaw, chilli con carne (but not very hot), and maybe some baked beans.
Sandwiches and cake for tea.
If anybody has 'special needs' please say so.

DO - really sorry - got your PM on holiday when I could access it from my phone but not reply, and when I came home I forgot all about it - just seen your link on the chat thread.

Unfortunately we are away this weekend, otherwise I would have loved to have met you again.

I met MHD last week, which was lovely!

PLease let me know if you are planning another meet Smile

Teaandcakeplease · 10/08/2011 11:26

DutchOma · 10/08/2011 17:02
