Ruby, come along. Red, come along!

Everyone come along Grin

I will end up singing 'Rubyrubyrubyruby, aaaaah, ah ahhh' at some point in the evening to you (probably towards the end when I am a bit drunky)

And to reiterate, wear whatever...be comfortable!

Grin

Val - I sing Ruby Ruby Ruby AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA in my head every time I see Ruby's name on MN [gtin]

GetOrfMoiLand · 13/04/2011 10:30

Me and Val will probably drunkenly possibly serenade you at some point.

There's another Per Una thread?!

I have to confess to having some 'pieces' (I believe that's the appropriate S&B word) from PU which are actually very nice, and always admired when I wear them. Although I did have to get rid of my cardigan when I realised it was the same one they were issuing every bloody year in a range of different colours, and they were all being worn by overweight grannies. (No offence intended to any overweight grannies who may be reading this)

BecauseImWoeufIt · 13/04/2011 10:40

This is the one

I had one from the very first season they sold them. Thought it was lovely/very unusual. Didn't realise they were going to do it in every which colour every bloody season forever afterwards. Mine went to Oxfam.

GetOrfMoiLand · 13/04/2011 10:40

I have got a dress from Per Una and it is one of my favourites.

I do not DARE admit that on those threads Grin

I have pieces of Pur Una. They are easy to pick up in charity shops. I suppose they seemed like a good idea at the time.....

"Val - I sing Ruby Ruby Ruby AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA in my head every time I see Ruby's name on MN"

Me too Grin

Thought I was the only weirdo one!

Have decided jeans is the only option, if I wear a dress I will end up being the one with the knickers/skirt/dress scenario.

I bet you're all tall aren't you? I am 5"1 so will have to wear heels or you'll all wonder who brought the kid Wink

BecauseImWoeufIt · 13/04/2011 12:57

5'2" here!

NotShortImHotCrossBunSized · 13/04/2011 13:07

Woohoo a fellow shorty! Not so worried now Smile

Valpollicella · 13/04/2011 13:09

Am 5'2" as well

OP posts:
GetOrfMoiLand · 13/04/2011 13:14

lol at kid.

i am 6 foot and will be wearing heels. Please don't mistake me for a transvestite Grin

Blatherskite · 13/04/2011 13:17

I'm 5'1" too.

Am also currently about that wide Sad Have promised myself if I can lose 5lbs before then and reach current goal weight, I'll come.

thefirstMrsDeVere · 13/04/2011 13:25

5 6 and a bit.

nickelbaalamb · 13/04/2011 13:25

I can't be bothered to read back, you lot talk too much!

why are you discussing height?
is it important?
Is there a height restriction?

Valpollicella · 13/04/2011 13:34

Blathers - please don't say that Sad Come along, whether you get to your goal or not...pleeeeeeease?

Don't make me beg

OP posts:
Alouiseg · 13/04/2011 14:11

Blathers!! Who gives a toss how tall or wide any of us are. Anyone who thinks I'm going on a diet to meet up with a nest of vipers is sorely mistaken, I save my dieting efforts for events that require bikinis. Not eye of newt or head of bat conferences

Valpollicella · 13/04/2011 14:13

Alouiseg, well said Grin

OP posts:
BecauseImWoeufIt · 13/04/2011 14:36

Bikinis, you say?

Now I might have to reconsider ...

Blatherskite · 13/04/2011 15:02

Grin at Alou

I'd just rather not arrive and have everyone go "Ah yes, Blathers - the weeble"
