yes, it probably would thanks x but have to say about a 20% chance of being able to leave ds in reality, so prob best you give that place to someone else sadly. gutted :(

methodsandmaterials · 15/05/2011 13:42

20% is better than 0%!! Hope you manage to arrange something!

MABS · 15/05/2011 13:44

thanks sweetie

cyb · 15/05/2011 14:23

Having just been to a low key meet up last night can I just say it doesnt matter what you wear, just as long as you are there. So come on everyone,..hang on I seem to have morphed into Mick Jagger

methodsandmaterials · 15/05/2011 14:28

So are you coming cyb??

Dropdeadfred · 15/05/2011 15:06

is it all closed for add-ins now?

smokinaces · 15/05/2011 15:15

sure its not dropdeadfred, sure we can fit one more in? Methods?

methodsandmaterials · 15/05/2011 15:28

Of course not ddf! Come!

Dropdeadfred · 15/05/2011 15:32

right..well I nee to
a) tell dh
b) empty his wallet
c) check out train times
d) lose a stone
e) find something to wear
f) pay!!
if i can do all that i may well come!! (perhaps d is a little optimistic) Wink

cyb · 15/05/2011 17:16

No methods dont think I will be coming- I've had enough excitement this wek to last me a very long time

kc0rns1lk · 15/05/2011 17:19

go on cyb - if BIWI can do 2 meet ups then so can you

methodsandmaterials · 15/05/2011 17:21

I agree with corny

LawrieMarlow · 15/05/2011 18:02

Is there any space for one more?

Have only just seen this and as I will be
(a) in London doing work which only happens every 6 months
(b) having been marking accountancy exam papers on my own in Islington all day
(c) will need to get a train back to my sister's house from Kings Cross
(d) have money in my paypal account
(e) trains back to where I am staying go on Quite Late

it might be nice to go. But not sure if I am too late, if I would be too scared to talk to anyone, or if anyone would talk to me, being a shy and retiring type

Also need to remember that I have to be back at work in the middle of London on Sunday morning.

Magna · 15/05/2011 18:10

Don't dither I only signed up this week Laurie. I will be stood in a corner too scared to speak to anyone so you can join me Smile

LawrieMarlow · 15/05/2011 18:15

Ooh thank you :)

What are people wearing? Need to pack for my sojourn down south and need to decide what to bring....

Magna · 15/05/2011 18:23

I don't know to be honest Hmm

I was going to ask that myself.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 15/05/2011 18:48

Please please will someone use my ticket?

I feel crepes about DH being unable to come and releive me (as it were), so if someone takes my ticket it will balance out the awfulness.

[flutters eyelashes]

Magna · 15/05/2011 19:00

Chaos are you not going, I didn't realise Sad

LawrieMarlow · 15/05/2011 19:02

So if I sign up will you feel better?

And do I need a badge? I don't do craft Grin

methodsandmaterials · 15/05/2011 19:07

Badge making facilities will be provided. Glad you're coming!
chaos, I've just PMed you.

LawrieMarlow · 15/05/2011 19:12

I am going to pay. Right now

If dress code details could be provided it would be good as I need to pack by tomorrow :)

methodsandmaterials · 15/05/2011 19:20

lawrie, there isn't really a dress code... Some people will be in dresses and heels and others will be in jeans and flats. As long as you're comfortable, and can dance in your shoes, no-one will care.

LawrieMarlow · 15/05/2011 19:24

Sounds good :) I will probably wear a dress but don't want to feel overdressed IYSWIM.

Have paid, have requested to join FB group. Might start packing now Grin

Magna · 15/05/2011 19:39

Dancing Confused I don't remember signing up for that, conga no probs but actual dancing Hmm

Shodan · 15/05/2011 20:21

Someone mentioned the macarena...

I will be bucking the trend and wearing a dress and flats. Probably.
