I had a funny conversation with my aunt today (I am staying at her house after the parrrrty)

After a good half an hour with her talking at me about trains in London, I am 33, I can get a train she said

aunt - who are all these people at this party then
me - it's a mumsnet meet up, you know mumsnet, the online website thing
aunt - MUMSNET, REALLY, MUMSNET

smokinaces · 02/05/2011 22:13

But it will cost me more in alcohol then Val. I only need a few little things to keep me going, with the wine and all that Grin

ha ha ha GOML. Love old Auntie Grin

GatOwfMarLaaaandInnitBabe · 02/05/2011 22:15

WOW at the food. I assume that is all for me.

Methods you should have posted a pretend menu such as

Cheese and pickle sandwiches
Cheese and pineapple silver hedgehog
Mushroom vol au vents
Big posh prawns
Kebab flavoured mini pizzas

and watched us all politely say 'thank you methods that sounds very nice Smile'

methodsandmaterials · 02/05/2011 22:36

Bugger. That's crap but not a disaster.
If anyone is uncertain about their journey, feel free to email (on the address in the OP) or PM me and I'll find you alternatives.

smokinaces · 02/05/2011 22:39

However, looking at it Chancery Lane isnt much further walk wise and is on the central line which has no scheduled works for that weekend.

GatOwfMarLaaaandInnitBabe · 02/05/2011 22:40

bless you methods, you really are kind.

Thanks v much to you and val for organising this.

CointreauVersial · 02/05/2011 22:44

I think I have to get to London Bridge, although I haven't given it a lot of thought tbh.......

Valpollicella · 02/05/2011 22:46

smokinaces · 02/05/2011 22:49
