Hi
I would like to meet any other mums in north London who are just nice people! I have a two and a four year old girl and have met many other mums but unfortuntely many are snooty or just plain rude! If you would like to chat or meet up, please let me know! I live in Muswell Hill so any one in the Muswell Hill/Highgate/Crouch End area would be particularly welcome! Look forward to hearing from you!

Have you tried checking up on the past "Meet Up" threads to see if anyone near you? Sorry,I can't help-am a South Londoner through and through but thought you looked lonely here on this thread of yours!

NLTina · 31/10/2005 12:03

Thanks, I will look. Have just joined mumsnet today so am not yet quite sure what I am doing! I have just moved into London and am keen to see who's around!

im a north london mum with 2yr old son and 10yr old girl im often in mh and ce. welcome to mn. i too often encounter snooty mums i live in tottenham which is a run down area in london and ive found people often make assumptions, anyway before i start ranting im happy to meet with you and your yummy kidiewinks.

Chatmum · 01/11/2005 13:24

Hi, thanks for your message bumptobabies, nice to hear from you. How does mumsnet work - do you post messages for a while and then meet up or do you meet up first to get to know each other? I am very good at ranting myself!

Hi, honeypot01, nice to hear from you. My four year old has just started school and is enjoying it. Has your daughter just turned four? Is finding a school place for her as stressful as it is in Muswell Hill?

Hope to chat soon

Hi NLTina

Looks like everybody has strayed from the point.

I live in crouch end and i have a 3 year old dd.
If you would like to meet up i'm sure we can arrange something.

ixel · 04/11/2005 09:39

Hi Gella.. you're still around! We moved from Muswell Hill to Whetstone a few months ago, so Crouch End feels like the end of the earth now! Its such an indirect series of bus routes from here! We still go up to Muswell Hill a bit, but then you have to rely on the 234 to actually stop when you stick your arm out, which doesn't happen every time. And then I end of spending lots of money in my favourite shops there

NLTina · 05/11/2005 14:02

Hi Gella, that sounds great. Thanks for getting things back on track! One of my daughters is nearly three. When are you generally around? I drop my elder girl at school in Highgate and then my younger daughter at nursery in Muswell Hill at 9. Does your child go to nursery? Hope you are having a good weekend. We have a fireworks party at my daughter's school tonight, which she is looking forward to, though I think she will actually be quite scared by the noise!

Hi ixel

Whetstone? isn't that out of LONDON?.

NLtina

hi, yes my dd is in nursery but the only time i'm free this week are the afternoons mon-thurs or all day fri. So if you are free we can set a time.
