What are you going to wear then?

I think hot pants and a gilded bra top.

Or not.

OP posts:
nickelbabyhatcher · 04/04/2011 13:21

i'll be wearing nothing.

methodsandmaterials · 04/04/2011 13:25

I shall be wearing this.

LadyOfTheManor · 04/04/2011 13:30

Ooo that's classy. Yes I think you should defo wear that.

GetOrfMoiLand · 04/04/2011 13:32

Methods I think that is a bit plain. The colour is a bit to bland.

It needs some pink and some purple and some turquoise and some razzmatazz.

methodsandmaterials · 04/04/2011 13:33

Thanks. I'll obviously be accessorising the outfit as well. I wouldn't want to look like an idiot.

LadyOfTheManor · 04/04/2011 13:40

ha ha ha @ razzmatazz. What a ridiculous word.

GetOrfMoiLand · 04/04/2011 13:43

I am going to wear this

(Don't take the piss, mind, this is actually what I am going to be wearing, unless you lot ruin my day by pointing and laughing)

OP posts:
bigTillyMint · 04/04/2011 13:45

Very smart.

And what will you be accessorising it with?

GetOrfMoiLand · 04/04/2011 13:47

Vajazzles.

very high heeled platform shoes (yet to be purchased)

Some sort of jewellery (yet to be purchased)

A bag (yet to be purchased).

I feel a shopping trip to Cabot Circus coming on...

OP posts:
methodsandmaterials · 04/04/2011 13:47

That dress is ultra chic getorf.
Like.

nickelbabyhatcher · 04/04/2011 13:48

really, GetOrf?
I'm sorry, but it looks very workaday, and not going-out clothes at all. :(

GetOrfMoiLand · 04/04/2011 13:48

I am going to have to be sensible with eating for the next month, and it is very tight fitting and unforgiving, and the size comes up rather small as it is.

OP posts:
GetOrfMoiLand · 04/04/2011 13:50

Honest nickel, it is very going outy. The split is right up to your pubic bone almost, and it is very cleeavagey indeed. It is also very tight.

If I wore that to work people's eyes would pop out their head.

Mind you, if everyone thinks it is a bit plain looking, please tell me as i am more than happy to ditch it and use you lot as an excuse to buy another frock ('but mumsnet TOLD me to go shopping, DP, I simply had to spend money')

OP posts:
nickelbabyhatcher · 04/04/2011 13:51

buy another frock!
Grin

it's not that i don't like it, I just think it looks plain.
even eith thigh-high split and cleavage.

bigTillyMint · 04/04/2011 13:52

Workaday, nickel?

Is that the sort of thing you put on to look after your chickens?

GetOrfMoiLand · 04/04/2011 13:53

You just want me to wear something like methods frock don't you Grin

OP posts:
methodsandmaterials · 04/04/2011 13:54

I wouldn't wear that to work..

GetOrfMoiLand · 04/04/2011 13:54

Nickel, if I turn up to this meet up looking like a cross between Liz Macdonald and Liberace and all you lot are wearing BLACK I will throw glitter all over you.

OP posts:
nickelbabyhatcher · 04/04/2011 13:55

"French Connection crepe wrapover blazer-style dress is sleek and structured. Wear with skyscraper heels and an oversized clutch for a look that means business"
is the description that FC gives GetOrf's dress.
that sounds like they're expecting you to wear it for work.

I wouldn't wear it for work, either, but it's not very practical for a bookshop.

GetOrfMoiLand · 04/04/2011 13:56

What I might do then is put it on and put a pic on profile, so you can see what it looks like on.

I will borrow a chicken from next door for full added effect.

Oh god I am so attention seeking aren't I. Grin

OP posts:
methodsandmaterials · 04/04/2011 13:57

My dear getorf. My style is often emulated, never equalled. Just a friendly warning.

GetOrfMoiLand · 04/04/2011 13:57

Depends on what type of books you sell Grin

I couldn't wear it to work, am an engineer so work with the type of blokes who make Bill Gates look like Peter Andre, they would retreat scared and squeak at me (they do that anyway, but still).

OP posts:
bigTillyMint · 04/04/2011 13:58

Oooh nickel, you MUST wear that on the nightGrin

nickelbabyhatcher · 04/04/2011 14:03

okay, i'll see it on.

I still think it looks a bit prissy and dull for a going out dress.
