I always look on here to see if anyone else is doing a call out for west london, so thought I should get off my butt and do it myself.

So, is there anyone else around Notting Hill/ Ladbroke Grove with a new baby, who wants to be a lady that lunches? Bugaboo is an optional extra

sigh

no more I am afraid but go on tell us where you live so I can go all misty-eyed

Well, for the posh people it's Notting Hill, for the estate agents it's North Kensington, but really it's Ladbroke Grove. 10 mins walk from Portobello Road.

are you yummy?

novadandypowder · 27/10/2005 19:13

Sadly I don't have a Bugaboo, which may alienate me from the rest of the Notting Hill mummies.

oooh Nova really off topic, but just realising where you live..

Enid · 28/10/2005 14:27

Enid · 28/10/2005 14:28

and I got sexually assualted in the pub opposite

(it wasnt as bad as it sounds and he admitted it and got a fine)

babyonboard · 28/10/2005 14:28

ooooh...compliments to the chef! hehehehehe

babyonboard · 28/10/2005 14:30

nasty!
you mean the westbourne? it's my cousins favourite but imo it's too popular for it's own good..where's the fun in paying through the nose to drink on the pavement outside a pub because every inch of the actually premises is jampacked!? teehee

Enid · 28/10/2005 14:31

yy the westborne

he grabbed me on the stairs and put his hands up my skirt and grabbed my tits, dirty bugger. Anyway the bar staff chased him , the police were there in a split second and they whisked me away in a police car to the amazement of my mates who were unaware until they saw me sailing off in a panda

babyonboard · 28/10/2005 14:34

oooh crazy..hope you weren't shaken..just sounds like your average yobbish drunk geezer rather than anything too sinister..

sorry Nova for using your thread for a chat there!

Enid · 28/10/2005 14:35

yes but he had done it before so i felt better about pressing charges.

Got £500 for it anyroad

babyonboard · 28/10/2005 14:38

...but reason I clicked on this, is my cousin and his wife have just moved back from japan , and his wife is very lonely with their 2 month old dd!
they live on hereford road, off westbourne grove.
she has just joined mumsnet so I'll point her in the direction of this thread!

babyonboard · 28/10/2005 14:38

Enid..eek..at least you called the police! hopefully he has learnt his lesson...

novadandypowder · 28/10/2005 16:48

ooooo BoB point her in this direction deffo.

I know the Cow, although only eaten there once. DH tends to favour Lucky 7, or Osteria Basilico down by Portobello.

You should let me know when you're around this way again.
