I don't need a badge, right ? If Tech wears the Charlies' MN Angels thingy, I'll be the Bear Grappler sans badge...

I doubt if everyone will have sent a jpeg, ks; but what the party line on it is, I don't know. There is strength in numbers, however, and since we've been BEGGING Hub to come, I'm not sure we can start dictating terms.

Fauve · 24/11/2005 23:11

But generally, yes, the idea is that we all wear badges showing an image depicting our MN name, so we can all go round and guess each other's identity. Ice breaker type thing.

Tortington · 24/11/2005 23:37

of course you dont have to wear one. the thinking was that unless some form of id was shown that it would be hard to spot which mumsneter was worth talking to.

this badge thing is becoming an arse ache to be honest. its going to take me most of the day tomorrow. to sort jpegs out and i have to go somewhere which has a printer - then i have to attach a pin somewhere - to laminate or not to.

who is gonna be pissed because they got a crappy picture ( the ones who couldnt be arsed sorting a jpeg)
then theres the re sizing becuase what looks good when you google picturise it actually when you make it look bigger has a pixel problem and goes all blurry.

so you see - i will give it about 3 hours - then i might just think fuck it.

Custardo - can totally see what you mean - don't waste hours on it. If badges/laminates don't work, maybe just do something we can use as place cards???

Have had another go trying to get a jpeg: let's see if this works
