Hi - we have a southeast london mums thread in the meetups site and there are several from around the Bexley area. I'm in Blackheath and would be happy to meet up for coffee sometime - CAT me if you'd like. I have a 10 1/2 month old and get a bit cooped up as well.

Hi Jenweber, thanks for responding to my plea! Im new to this site so dont know what CAT means..im probably being very dim but can blame it on nappy brain.

Hi nably, welcome to MN. I'm in Belvedere. My children are 6 and 4. As Jenweber said, come and join us on the Southeast London mums threads.

KBear · 26/10/2005 10:49

CAT means contact another talker - see top of page.

jenweber630 · 26/10/2005 14:46

Ah - right - should have explained that - thanks kbear. And nably I've got lots of information about things to do in the area my sister is coming into town on Saturday and will be here for a few weeks but I've got pockets of free time before then - hope to hear from you soon!

Hi nably,

I live in Bexley with my 18 month old. If you want to CAT me I can tell you what groups we go to etc.

KBear · 04/11/2005 10:48

We're meeting for coffee in Bexleyheath on 14 November if you want to check out the Southeast London Mums November meet up thread. Come along.

Hi
I am a working mum but would like to meet other mums. I have 3 year old girl. I live in Bexley.

Noidea · 27/10/2006 14:27

Hi cbtrue, do you work full time? Several of us meet up now and again for a coffee at Bluewater if you get a chance to join us. See 'Anyone in Kent' thread.

cbtrue · 27/10/2006 16:54

Hi

I am not sure how all this works. How do I get to the thread? I am hoping to meet up with new mums, but wotk full timeish and find it hard juggling work/family. I am also trying to find a nanny/childminder. Any suggestions?

Noidea · 27/10/2006 19:29

'Anyone from Kent' will be in the list of threads in meet-ups. I'll bump it up so it's next to this one. If you let us know which days you're free we could try to arrange a meet up around that.
If you check on the 'Talk' page there's a section devoted to childminders and nannies - don't know if that might help. Does the local council hold a list of childminders? Someone must if they have to be registered.
Also have a friend who's a local nanny so I'll ask her if she knows of anyone.

cbtrue · 27/10/2006 19:37

Hi Thanks for that. I shall look at the other thread.

The childminding has been difficult as my dd is at a small independent school and not so many options for the pick up. We are on leave next as she has extended holidays. Talk on the other thread.
