Cumbria!! Any other Mums?

I've lived in Cumbria (Appleby way) for a year now but am a bit lonely - I've got a DD aged 6 and a DS aged 18 months.

Would love to meet up with other Mums!

Keep meaning to join a local playgroup, but I've been told by friends (not local) that they can be rather cliquey.

Hopefully someone from Cumbria will read this!!

Last year a few of the MNs went to the Apple day at Acorn Bank, at Culgaith just down the road from you. Its later this month. Perhaps you could arrange a meetup there? Punch and Judy, Morris dancers, face painting, hat making etc and LOTS of apples

That sounds good - what date is it on? My DD & DS would love that!

It's very muddy - definitely a wellies event!
Dss loved it last year, and we bumped into some old friends we hadn't seen as a family for years - happy memories. Thanks again for the recommendation Anteater.
