gill - i used to live in Danbury but returned to Aus to live last year. Dh and I often reminisce about Danbury/CHelmsford and how much we loved living there. Had we still been there I would have been up for a meet.

My son is 4 next week, and my baby is 3 months. Sorry to hear you have to be at the hospital a lot. I would be up for a meeting next time you have to be in Chelmsford.

Don't you drive? I can't imagine how I'd manage without the car!
My boys were both born at St. Johns - not a great place but the midwives were fantastic. I was in there for an op last summer and it was awful!

no i dont drive, hubby does
yes its very hard especilly with 2 kids and one who has matthew probs abit of a mare

holly was born at wjc in braintree and matthew was born in st johns, he was in the neo natal unit as he was early, the midwifes where fab and so where the nurses just the hosp is abit poor and alot of people dont like it

i think the rest of the hosp is quite bad, the childrens ward is very poor also

r u near the train station?

love nat

gill3745 · 03/10/2005 11:07

I'm about 20 mins walk from the station, so I can walk to town when the weather is good. But I love having the car and I drive all over to see friends - Benfleet, Westcliff, Stortford. And it makes taking the kids out easier too. But it makes you lazy if you're not careful!
