There is a group of us meeting at the one o'clock centre in Battersea Park this Friday

Hello, I'm in Clapham just off Abbeville Road near Clapham Common and would like to meet some others in the area. My son is 12 days old. I might not be able to make Friday at Battersea Park, because my husband is still on paternity leave, but please leave a message on this thread for future meetups. I am dreading him going back to work as I know I am going to get a bit lonely!!

I'm in Balham so Battersea Park is too far
Let me know if any Clapham Common meet ups happen

firstimemum · 05/10/2005 09:31

Maybe if another Clapham Common meet up isnt planned for a while or at all, the three of us and anyone else who wants to join us at the Common can arrange to meet up.

Hi All

The meet up I mentioned is arranged through www.mumsinbattersea.co.uk, the website lists activities in battersea but the forum is for mums based in SW London, we also meet in Clapham Common quite regularly. Please feel free to join the forum so that you hear about our regular meet ups

firstimemum · 05/10/2005 12:31

Thanks Batterseamum. That sounds great. Hope to meet you and other mums soon.

BatterseaMUM · 05/10/2005 12:38

You're very welcome, there are some really lovely women on the forum and a few with young babies
