Anyone interested in joining us, Munch and I, for this event on the 31st (this wed)
I am already meeting one of the SAHD's from our NCT friends with his DD but could get free entry for 3 other parents and their kids using my family ticket.
It is from 12-3pm and you need to bring a child, a picnic, oh and a teddy bear

Their site lists it in events

We would have loved to go Carlk, but Ive got a hospital appointment at 11:30 and wouldn't make it
Dads can be trusted

Carlk · 30/08/2005 09:08

It was too short notice really, perhaps folks would like to do another time before we lose the weather. they have a relly good play park and activity garden

Oh, missed this! I can't manage to get there tomorrow, bit short notice and other things arranged, but it would be a great place for a meet-up another time. There's an excellent playground, and kid's discovery area is superb. And of course dads can be trusted, so maybe it's the deodorant?

Are the slide and swing OK, by the way?

whimsy · 30/08/2005 10:04

I've never really thought about going there with the children, I'm sure DS1 would love it. We should arrange another day though.
Is there a train station local? I can't remember

HuggyBear · 30/08/2005 10:07

I live near there

If i wasnt such a wuss about meet-ups i'd have come along tomorrow.....

WigWamBam · 30/08/2005 10:09

It's brilliant for children, the playground is excellent, there's plenty of space for them to run around and the activity garden thingy is really well thought out. My dd loves the glass houses as well.

Theie website here reckons that Five Ways station is 15 minutes walk away but I would have thought it was further than that. There are plenty of buses run along that way though.

dizzymama · 30/08/2005 10:12

Would have loved to chick but the dreaded (semi) return to work is happening tomorrow shall think of you having fun in the sun though. Would be good to meet up there some other time though (I'm Kidderminster so not far!). Awh....come on huggy......

HuggyBear · 30/08/2005 10:16

am tempted lol

whimsy · 30/08/2005 10:20

I might ring the hospital and try and rearrange my appointment. As I'm tempted too, especially if the weather is going to be like this

WigWamBam · 30/08/2005 10:21

Huggy, do go - I've met Carlk, so has whimsy, and we can both vouch for the fact that he's genuine, doesn't have three heads and doesn't breathe fire

HuggyBear · 30/08/2005 10:23
