OK...this is is, an attempt at a post-bump get together in London :)

So, how do you all feel about trying for Westfield centre this time? I've never been but apparently there's loads of parking and good transport...

I can do any time in Sept but mostly Mondays and Tuesdays for complicated personal reasons for most of the month - October is a lot more flexible!!

CSWS It's in Shepherd's Bush - don't be put off - has lots of parking and good transport links. There's a brand new tube link which was build especially for westfield. My friend in Berkhamsted got a direct train there! google it and you'll find the website.

Mondays good for me too filly as DD with nanny.

Thanks filly, any morning is good for me as ds1 at nursery. Ooh just thinking now of all the lovely places we can meet for coffee and cake!

CSWS - daytime, definitely....but I can do morning or afternoon, so whatever the majority opinion demands :) I don't actually know where the Westfield centre is but suspect I can get there ok...

Hmmm. I'll keep an eye on the plans, but won't commit to coming at this point, as it will depend in part on whether ds2 improves his in-car behaviour! I can't take a journey that long (esp allowing for traffic which could easily more than double the hour that a clear run would take) with him screaming constantly.

If I do come, I would have to bring ds1 as well (currently 22 months). Will anyone else have older dc with them?

Fridays would be easier for me in the sense that dh is more likely to be at home just in case I get held up and can't get to dd's school in time for pick up. But as I say, don't plan around me.

Hi, great idea filly - I would like to come, but don't hold up plans on my account. Tuesday / Weds / Thurs AMs are fine for me, as I have to get DS from nursery Mon & Fri lunchtimes.

ok, ok, I'm here now. Would love to meet up. October is good. Just can't do Monday 18 October or Thursday 21 October as have hospital appointments both those days.

How about Thursday 14th October at around 11-ish? I'll probably need to feed Mia around then but can hopefully make it to Westfield after the school run and before her feed...eek!

hi all, I'm just lurking as I might come along depending on how things are going with the move. Thursdays are good for me, but I'd have to bring DD1 too. CSWS, are you planning on bringing DS1? Anyone else bringing toddlers?

There is a foodhall type area where we could meet, with several coffee places in it. I couldn't tell you where it is though.

Brilliant - I'm there! There's a coffee place called Sacred on the ground floor central bit (I think it's called the Atrium) - shall we meet there?

I should be able to make it too. Its on the calendar but am still hoping I might be too busy packing or something!

CSWS- glad I won't be the only one with a toddler disturbing the peace!

Brilliant - I'll call Sacred tomorrow and see if they can hold some space for us from around 11am...

Apparently Westfield have brilliant children's car-buggy things you can swap your normal buggies for - this may interest those with toddlers...

I'm also going to check if there's a softplay - if there is, perhaps we should meet there, or near there, to keep toddlers happy? I think there's going to be a few...?
