Hello to anyone on the Island.

I thought I would see if there is anyone around and whether anyone fancies getting together sometime over the holiday.

I am in Cowes and have 2DDs - aged 3 and 1. Can meet anywhere on the island though, just to get out and about with people.

Hi there,

I'm in Newport. We have 5 DCs who are older (13 - 18). If a meetup was organised I have a 16 year old who adores young children and would love to come and "play", or be an extra pair of hands, if needed.

Hello - I thought there must be some MNers around!

Gosh - 5DC - I would love a house full of children but I don't think I am cut out for it. Does it get easier as they get older??

My girls are very sociable and would love to hang out with a 16 year old - they have 14 year old twin half-aunties (does such a thing exist) who they adore.

Anyone else on the island?

Hi,

The problems become different ones as they get older. Sometimes I think 10 toddlers would be easier, but other times, its a delight!!

A few months back there was a discussion going on about where to visit on the island and a few islanders "appeared", but not "seen" any since on here.

Maybe others will pop up?
