Hi,
Is anyone up for a meet at Whale of a Time, Greenhithe, about 2 mins from Bluewater, at 2pm on Friday 9th September. It has a separate soft play area for the under 3s which my dd of 13 months loves. Another couple of Mumsnetters are planning on coming, children around the same age or a little older.
If anyone else wants to join us, that would be great!

Hi... just posted on the original thread. Am meeting up with another mum tomorrow from dd's nursery. Will see if she would like to come along as well.

lozinkent · 23/08/2005 21:07

Great - will be there!

jenweber630 · 23/08/2005 22:44

My parents are in town - I'll try for the next one!

dropinthe · 30/08/2005 09:52

I'll put it in my diary and see if I can come-know exactly where it is.

Micku5 · 02/09/2005 18:09

Hi, I am afraid that I will have to bail on this outing. My MIL past away day before yesterday and the funeral is next Friday.

I will try and make the next meet up.

cadbury · 02/09/2005 18:18

Aww, I would have loved to come but my dd has started school now so I'd only be there minutes before having to come home and pick her up again

Will keep my eyes open if you meet again. Have fun

dropinthe · 05/09/2005 08:47

Is this still on?

lozinkent · 05/09/2005 09:19

Sorry guys but another one dropping out here! I went to A&E on Friday with stomach pains and ended up having my appendix out! Feel like I have been hit by a bus at the moment so don't fancy chasing after ds on Friday.

So sorry
xxx

dropinthe · 05/09/2005 09:54

Poor you! Hope you feel better soon!

Noidea · 05/09/2005 12:41

Hi, so sorry to hear about your MIL, MickU5 and your appendix (or rather lack of it), Loz. Hope you feel better soon. Do you want to suggest another date when you're feeling better - perhaps in the morning so that Cadbury can join us?

In the meantime, dropinthe, do you still want to meet up on Friday? My dd needs an outing most days to keep her happy so I'm still up for it if you are. If not, look forward to meeting you at another time!

Why not!-I would have to meet a little earlier if thats ok as have to pick ds1 from nursery at 4.15 which is in Eltham so would be a bit tight-in fact,is there ANY chance we could meet before lunch-say around 11.30 or is that putting you out of your routine?? My ds2 is 19 months old and usually sleeps in the afternoon-let me know!

Noidea · 06/09/2005 10:04

Morning's fine, but any chance you could make it a little earlier? Dd usually sleeps in the morning but can keep her going to about 10.30 before going out then she's ok.
If you can't make earlier we'll work to 11.30. Look forward to meeting you!

I can make it 10- if you wanted-whatever time would suit you best!

Noidea · 06/09/2005 14:48

10 would be great, thanks!
Will CAT you with description.

No probs-looking forward to it-LOVE meeting new people, especially Mumsnetters!

dropinthe · 09/09/2005 08:20

Anyone else coming?? Meeting outside at 10 am!

jenweber630 · 13/09/2005 13:12

I hope you all had a great time! I'll try to make the next one... My parents were here for a week and left yesterday - we did SO much sightseeing. Just thought I'd let you know, I started the thread for the world's largest coffee morning in London and it will be at Ottakar's in Greenwich - I hope some of you can make it!

dropinthe · 13/09/2005 14:49

Noidea-its not this Friday-its Monday-got the day wrong!

Noidea · 14/09/2005 15:28

Thanks, dropinthe - won't be able to make it, but have fun!

Are you up to a meet up lozinkent? Would be nice for us all to get together again. Tried to think of somewhere different to go - only came up with Crook Log Sports Centre in Bexleyheath which has a 'totszone' several days a week. Got that much from the internet. Does anyone know anything about it?

OP posts:
lozinkent · 15/09/2005 06:56

I don't know anything about it either but would love to meet up! Am pretty much healed up now and raring to go!

I just can't do Weds am or Thurs am.

KBear · 15/09/2005 17:07

Crook Log sports centre is BRAND NEW and probably great, although my DS is no longer a tot!. Erith sports centre also has a totzone, new facilities there too including great new pools.

Noidea · 19/09/2005 13:40

Rang Crook Log Leisure Centre: they have a Totzone for 0-5 year olds Mon & Tues 9.30 - 10.30 and 10.30 - 11.30 and Friday from 1 - 2. Cost £4 per session. Seems a bit steep just for an hour but I'm happy to try it if anyone else wants to come along.

If not, any other suggestions??

jenweber630 · 19/09/2005 17:21

I think that sounds great - I'll keep an eye out for what day and time is planned.

Noidea · 20/09/2005 19:23

How about Tuesday 4th October? Either 9.30 or 10.30, whatever suits.

Micku5 · 22/09/2005 09:04

Hi, I won't be able to make it as dd is in nursery on Tuesdays.
