Hi there,
We've received the following media request.
Thanks,
MNHQ
I'm Helen Dewdney, consumer journalist and broadcaster (The Complaining Cow), and I'm researching Meta/Ray-Ban smart glasses for a potential television investigation.
I'm looking specifically for first-hand experiences, rather than general views about the technology.
Have you or your child been filmed without realising, harassed or made uncomfortable by someone wearing smart glasses? Has footage subsequently appeared online? Have you had problems getting footage removed? Or have smart glasses caused a privacy, safeguarding or workplace issue for you?
I'm particularly interested in experiences involving schools, nurseries, workplaces, shops or other public places, but I'd like to hear about other situations too.
At this stage I'm simply gathering evidence and potential case studies. There is no obligation to be interviewed. Initially I'd just like a brief email outlining what happened and whether you might be willing to speak to the media if the investigation progresses.
Please note I am ONLY looking for specific case studies from people who have been affected by actual real footage. I have more than enough on the arguments for all opinions and sides of the arguments etc!
Please contact me at* *[email protected] Thank you.
