Is it too late to drop out of my OU degree course?

Due to start in October - it's the A111 module and I'd signed up to do an English literature degree.

Student finance in place - tuition fees only

However ... a change in my work circumstances means I just won't have time to do this module plus I feel now I was too hasty on signing up to do it

Is it straightforward for me to cancel does anyone know? Who would I contact first?

If you google open university cancel course the info that comes up suggests you can cancel up to 14 days before course starts

It's fine to cancel, I sat A111 last year but accidentally signed up for A112 in January instead of October.
I think I emailed Student services and they sent me a lovely email confirming cancellation and hoping I'd be able to study in future.
