Single mum: to tentatively relocate with hope of getting the job

Hi everyone,
I am a single mum who just finished studying. The nature of the job that I trained for is that they are scattered all over the state and commence in 4 months. I would really want to work in a particular state and just thinking if I move closer to my ideal work location, might improve the chances of getting the job. My address and during interview knowing am closer maybe. Interviews in December.

Furthermore, there are no jobs where I am currently living (with parents which is a plus). But am thinking I could move now and get a holiday job for the 4 months, put toddler in daycare and make friends with a hope of being offered a position end of Jan.

I could move to wherever I get a job if my first choice is not approved but I LO would have to move daycares a lot. Was in one from beginning of new, now in new one while with family, new one next and possibly new one if things don’t go my way.
What to do? Thank you

No way I would move without the guarantee of a job- especially if it meant uprooting toddler. If you think where you live will impact your chances of getting the job I’d just lie and say you’ve already relocated.

Thank you@Rosiiee taking the LO is the main issue really, otherwise I would go there for the four months and if I don’t get matched with the job I would move on.
