Gastric Surgery?

Hi Ladies. Bit of a random one (and maybe quite a personal one) but has anyone ever had gastric/bariatric surgery, and if so, was it here (UK) or in Turkey? What were your experiences?

I had a gastric sleeve (not in the UK or Turkey). I lost around 7 stone and it has changed my life! However, I am still an emotional eater (albeit now I can only eat smaller portions) but just something to bear in mind. I found the gas pain in my chest the worst part after surgery. Other negatives were hair loss (due to huge weight loss) and being sick because I ate too much - it took a while to slow down and realise when I was full.
