Larger portions-do you remain greedy/prone to being overweight?

I am not hugely overweight, but my weight fluctuates and whenever I feel on the heavy side I low carb.

I want to reach my comfortable lower weight and maintain it! So hoping to lose a bit more this time so that if it does creep back up a little it isn't such a problem, I can fix it.

But I keep having large portions. I've just made low cal noodles and veggie mince with mushrooms and onions for lunch, eaten a bowl and gone back for seconds.

If I do this will I 'stay used' to eating a lot/large portions and find it more difficult to maintain my weight longer term? Anyone any experience of cutting down on portions to stop being gluttonous?

How long have you been low carbing this time? I find your appetite decreases after a few weeks. (It was sooner, but hey, perimenopause....🙄). I'm still eating massive portions of Greek yogurt and tahini though, and still losing weight steadily. 8lbs in 7 weeks and counting.

Only about a week so far. Well done on your weight loss! I haven't weighed myself yet because it would depress me, but I am going to wait until I feel happier with my body and then buy some good scales, which I think will help this not happen again. I already feel a bit less round. I'm 5'2 and usually between 9.7 and 10st. I have a feeling I am about 10st 4 or 5 currently. I am quite muscular and not a small build, but it is still too much. I am going to try to get down to about 9st I think. I will see if my appetite decreases, I can't remember if that happened last time I did it.
