So just found out I'm going to be a grandma....
I need to lose weight....I want to be fit and healthy and full of energy
I'm 55
Sweet tooth
Love toast
Decided..no cake choc puddings crisps etc
Going for protein veg and salads fruit zero fat Greek yogurt
Day one ..went well
Also did 25mim on an exercise bike
Anyone else trying ???

Yes me . Day 1 done yesterday. Have done it before and lost loads of weight but it has crept back on.
I am a similar age and just want my energy back.

Please swap the zero fat yoghurt for full fat, you need the fat if you're reducing carbs!
Sincerely, a long-term low-carber who's maintained a BMI of 21 this way and still loves and enjoys her food.

There's a few things in there that are high carb and will completely undo your good work.
Bananas
Shredded Wheat
Honey
All very high carb. Even things like carrots and milk are high. It is a great way of losing weight but so very easy to go wrong. If you look at one of the bootcamp threads and find the starting instructions it'll give you a really good list of what to watch out for.
