So I’ve been stalled on low carb for a good month now. I was irritated but not too bothered as there was no way I was going back to how I ate previously, so from my point of view it was carry on carrying on.
I had this inkling that I might be eating too much protein. I don’t track my food so I can’t tell you macro percentages but I’d allowed some low carb bread to creep in and I just had a feeling I was eating too much protein. So the last few days I’ve eaten very low carb, moderate protein, high fat and 4 pounds have disappeared!!!!!!
Are these the ratios most people know to stick to for weight loss? I had in my head it would be more like very low carb, high protein then back fill with fat. I was a bit scared of fat if I’m honest although I knew that excess protein can trigger insulin.
