The other thread seems to have seized up so I'm starting a new one.

This is my 5th KETO week and I only dropped 1lb from last week. In total I've lost just 9lbs. I'm incredibly disappointed. I've been in KETO (sticks) for most of that time.

Now I've developed a rheumy type pain behind my shoulder blades and I don't feel 100%.

I've struggled with ED since my teens and have been gripped by bulimia for the past 20 years. Doing KETO has halted the bulimia but I'm wondering whether I've done real damage to myself - why else would I be stalling in my weight loss? I need to lose more to try and feel a bit better about myself and to sort my body out. At this rate though, it's not doing what others claim it does.

Feel very low at the moment and can't even be bothered to NC for this condesssion.

*for this confession. I've abused diet pills and been really out of control in my past.

Really struggling at the moment. Sad

I'd recommend you to join the low carb boot camp thread and get chatting in there. Loads of good support and advice.

The experts are in bootcamp, but from a diet doctor video the pain might be from your gallbladder. I'd really recommend watching some of Dr Bergs videos. Your body takes time to adapt to fat burning and dealing with a higher fat intake . Gradually upping your day intake from a lowish level might help.
I didn't not want to answer but I've only been low carbing for 8 weeks but do have a healthcare background.

Also the big losses in the first week of keto are glycagon stores and water you may have already emptied those stores of energy if you've been restricting your food intake. People can usually lose 1 to 2% of their bodyweight a week and that tends to be what most people's weight loss averages out at. I'm fat and can stand to loose 2lbs a week, but some weeks it's more and some it's less. 9lb in five weeks sounds ok to me
