I’m in week 5 of the 8 week Blood sugar diet. I try to eat only 800 calories per day but I’ve gone up to 1000 on occasion. I lost nothing last week so I seem to have plateaued.
I’ve only lost 8lb in total and that was in the first 3 weeks. I’m carrying on with the diet in the hope that it will eventually kick in again. I’ve heard of the body going into famine mode but is that true and if so is it a permanent state until you eat normally again?
Like you I would welcome any advice.
Anyone else on this diet which is essentially low carb.
