“Resetting”?

I’m new to low carbing but have managed a couple of weeks and am just emerging from the fluey feeling stage, thank goodness.

A friend who is a long term low carber tells me that she eats a higher amount of carbs every so often to “reset” her body. She says it kickstarts her weight loss again.

I can’t find anything about this online. If I do this, will I suffer with the fluently feeling again for a couple of days?

I'm not an expert, but long-term keto/low carbers, do it to replenish their Leptin levels. They only eat one 'good' carb meal I believe. Not processed, high sugar foods for days...
You shouldn't need to do it for months, if at all. Check out the science on Diet Doctor website.
