Pcos/exercise

Hi I have pcos and although I've cut down on food, eating healthily and am now doing loads of exercise, I'm really struggling to lose weight.

I have two questions.

Can a low carb diet help me lose weight as I have pcos?

I've grown to love exercise, will I still be able to if I have a low carb diet?

Thanks for any advice.

There are a few people on the current Boot Camp thread (in the Boot Camp diet topic, but I'm on the app so I can't link - but we're on Week 3 and new people join throughout the 10 weeks) who have suffered PCOS and have lost weight.

Why not come across and ask?

Oh - and I still exercise even though I eat a HFLC diet. If anything, I now have more energy.

I do the Shred most days, cycle to Pilates class, walk - and am planning on starting to run again.

Thank you pretty, I have posted on the thread. Great to hear you have more energy and can still exercise. I never thought I'd say I actually like exercise! My teenage self would be horrified Grin

I shnazzyshot I have PCOS and am doing low carb high fat. Its the only way of eating that works for me. When I'm eating low carb I have regular periods something I dont generally have due to the PCOS. One of the best exercises I have found is walking. Good for the mind and the body. Its the diet and not really the exercise that will help you lose lots of weight. Thats not to say exercise isnt important but I'd focus on your food first.
