So last night we was watching tv and I've heard about the "Banting diet" and after, (all be it a small amount of) research seems to be quite a good way to shed some weight and hopefully make you feel better all around as you are cutting out sugar and carbs.
However, I'm quite fussy when it comes to food so need some ideas on meals, I'll give salads a try, and I do like my vegetables. I'm not keen on avocado, mushrooms, onions etc....
Does anyone have an ideas on meals to eat while on Banting diet and any general tips and information? With a 14 month old I can't be bothered making high concentration food that requires a lot of attention due to my toddler being a toddler.
Drinks are also stumbling me, can I drink tea? As long as I cut out the sugar and use full fat milk? I'm happy to drink water but will find it bland after a couple of days, so fruit water seems a good idea but I can't be dealing with making my own. Would shop brought be ok? Or again do I need to watch sugar and glucose content etc?
