So am on week 3 of a LCHF diet and loving the food. Really enjoying it...
BUT I haven't lost anything!! Not a lb!!! And I have a lot to lose. Started at 13st 9 three weeks ago, scales this morning started to go down (got to 13st 6 last week) am back to 13st 9 this morning???WTF is going on?
Just finished af so it's not that. Please look at my food diary and see if you can spot anything-
- breakfast 2 scrambled eggs
- lunch chicken salad with avocado & olives, pot yoghurt.
- dinner is usually meat (chicken, pork steak, steak) with veg (asparagus, cauli, roasted veg ; full-fat yoghurt with blueberries or square grated dark choc.
- not really snacking - have occasional chicken drumstick if hungry.
- drinking water & mint tea throughout the day. Have occasional (1 a day) tea without sugar, splash of milk.
And that's it!!! Does that sound right?
I suspect the scales are showing a slight indulgence this weekend as I had 3 bbqs (so a few, not loads, glasses prosecco & a gin or two) Is that the likely culprit?
I also went for a run yesterday so wondered if that make me retain water?! (Desperate)
I'm really motivated so not going to hit the biscuit tin (& don't really want to) just wondering if I'm on the right path?
I feel a bit slimmer. Trousers not as tight but have a wedding in 3 weeks & really wanted to feel better!!!
