Non-weight based targets?

I am convinced that scales are the devil's instrument and so we don't have any in the house - it is either that or get rid of the teenager… So, my targets are all clothing based. I bought a beautiful dress in a small 16 (French label)… Could not get it on when it arrived but I am now in after 3.5 weeks low carbing. The silhouette can be improved, but nearly there on my first milestone. Time to start picking the next one… Anyone else not doing it by weight?

I do it by weight but also by clothes fit. I have recently started riding a friends horse and would like to take it to some shows. I last wore my show stuff in 2006, I can no longer do it up!!

I printed off a picture of myself in my stuff (in 2006) and put the prices of each item next to it and wrote "New Stuff = £610, Cheaper to Lose Weight" that helps keep me motivated Grin

At the end of the day it doesn't actually matter what I weigh as long as the clothes fit me. I'd rather be a size 12 and weigh 13 stone than be a size 14 and weigh 12 stone (I'm neither!).

Doing it by your clothes is a really good idea I think - after all, it's irrelevant what you weigh if you can fit into the clothes that you want to wear!
