Anyone tried this with any success?

I did it earlier in summer and it worked really well.

Now as I am on annual leave this week and had a carby weekend staying with a friend where I gained 8lb (Shock), I am now a day in and lost 3.5!

I probably wouldn't want to do it when busy and stressed, but I actually find it fairly bearable.

Anyone else tried it and got on with it?

Am planning to do it for 7 days then back to induction.

Well I have decided to post what I have eaten/intend to eat today:

Meal 1: coffee with cocoa powder, cream & sweetener

2: 2 eggs fried in butter

3: spinach and Boursin

4: Brie

5; cocoa made with cream

Oh I haven't heard of this one but have done (veggie) Atkins in the past with great success. Is this one really different?

It is in the slightly older book, it basically involves eating 5 small meals a day of 200 kcals each with most of those kcals coming from fat - as close to 90% as possible.

It is not for the faint-hearted, and not intended for the long term (5-7 days max) but can really kick-start weight loss and put you into deep ketosis.

Ooo, I like the sound of that! But I do really hate calorie counting...! And the veggie books are all complete pants! When I did it, was 20g of carbs for the first stretch - my body couldn't cope with that, had to up to 25g! I keep procrastinating about going on a diet... Maybe I really ought to get going!
