Atkins snack bars, milkshakes

Has anyone tried the Atkins products from Boots? Do they still "work" - I'm just getting fed up with eggs and yoghurt from breakfast and was hoping to have a milk shake or a bar instead?
Anyone tried them?

I think they are food of the devil. Always eat real food. Nothing processed. No junk. Eat what is natural. What about some meat or fish at breakfast if you are sick of eggs. I have eggs and bacon and veg.

Ha ha! Ok I get the message - I have two very young kids so not always easy to be on the ball with cooked meat or a fry up. Just wanted a quick easy alternative.

I've had one or two in an "emergency" (ie when I have been in town and haven't been able to get anything quick and low-carb for lunch) and I've regretted them immediately. They feel like a lead weight in your stomach.

I now carry nuts and seeds round for such occasions.

Why not make those mini quiche thingies in advance? You can eat them hot or cold

I've never tried it but I wonder if a cream cheese pancake could be reheated?

I know it's still processed but Waitrose sell a lower carb loaf, it's only little but is 3.6g carb per slice, cheese on toast?

After a week of eating them they are pretty disgusting - the milk shakes are terrible.

I like the Atkins chocolate fudge bar, I know it's processed but it really tastes satisfying and chocolatey, and has lots of protein. It also has some laxative in it so that it doesn't clog you up too much, always a problem for me when I'm low carbing! They're ££ though so only for a treat.
