To count or not to count?

Generally speaking, when you're low carbing - no. However, as you get nearer your target weight you may find that you need to keep an eye on portion sizes (so calorie counting after a fashion). But you don't need to worry about the calories if you're low carbing. Assuming, of course, that you're eating a good diet, and eating plenty of veg/salad as well as good quality, unprocessed protein!
