I'm on Atkins and can cope fine with the meals, I really do miss snacks though. I have some Atkins bars although I know I'm not supposed to in phase one. Get a bit fed up with cheese and olives. I just tried some pork scratchings and they're disgusting.

sugar free jelly and cream is a staple in our house - i make it in disposable plastic cups so i can do rather large batches with no washing up

Atkins? Why not paleo/primal/lchf (google them! Read "marks daily apple" for info).

I started on Atkins, quite a few years ago, and yes, lost a lot of weight, but have evolved into paleo/primal, and it's a much more sustainable long term way of eating - the emphasis is very much on fresh, home cooked lower carb, natural foods, maximum flavour... You wouldn't be bored on it!

Sainsburys do 97% pork sausages which are very low carb. I think 0.5g per sausage if I remember correctly. I cook a whole pack, chop them, and then eat one or two over the day. Also eat Total yogurt, comes in at around 4g of carbs per 100g and is lovely and very filling!

Thanks everyone Smile
I didn't know I could have yoghurt or pine nuts. Pepperami (sp) I wasn't sure about, couldn't decide if it was allowed. My local butcher does amazing sausages but they have rusk in them, so I abandoned that idea. Good to know there are lower carb options. Shall try all these and look at those other diets.

I lost 10lbs in 10 days before but got busted sniffing a bread roll in Sainsbury and had to buy it. Then of course I had to eat it. Grin I'm doing at least an hr of cardio a day. Hoping to go from a large 14 to a 10 by Christmas.

I think it's only plain yogurt that is low carb as the flavoured ones are much higher. Well done on your weight loss so far. I need to step up the exercise but I'm finding low carbing so much easier than the 5:2 I was doing in the spring!

Thanks Yukon, checked my weight today and have gained 10lbs!! Shock Must have weighed myself on a lucky floorboard yesterday. Carried my scales all around the house to check, and found out I was 10 heavier all along. Gutted!!
