low carbers - couple of questions

I've persuaded DH to go low carb for a week but not sure whether to try the rules that were posted on here (where are they?) Or just ban obvious carbs for a week and see what happens.

I'm sure he'll feel better for it and I could use the support but it needs to be achievable. Right now I reckon he's as likely to choose a loaf to accompany him to a desert island as her is to choose me.

just do it the obvious way....if he gets on ok with it then you can decide to follow the stricter rules. I wouldn't impose the bootcamp on someone who is reluctant

I guess so. Our budget is pretty tight unfortunately but I'm hoping he'll see the benefits and maybe eat less

I'm following bootcamp rules - DP has simply cut processed carbs like bread and pasta - he still eats potatoes.
