Eating low carb seems to cause dark circles under my eyes?!

Last year I lost 2 stones low carving. I generally stuck to low carb in maintenance since then. I'm now back on a weight loss low carb regime as half a stone has crept back on. Love low carb woe etc BUT I have dark circles developing under my eyes again!! I have only just realised that they went when I was no longer strictly low carbing but they are definitely back Sad. I am on day 3 of bootcamp type eating. Has anyone else got this when low carbing. Love the easy weight loss and health benefits hate the hideous ageing dark circles!!

how odd, i find the reverse, which i think is to do with the increased water intake. you're definitely drinking enough water?

Yes willie, I am suffused with water - at least 3 litres. I'm at the carb flu stage at the moment - headaches etc and I want to only lose about a stone. I'm wondering if if will be temporary while in the weight loss stage - I hope so!

hmm, a bit of googling suggests it's not unheard of during the induction phase of atkins, but i'm afraid there don't seem to be any solutions to this one other than a good cover-up!
