Evening everyone!

I'm starting the first week's chat thread this evening as I know everyone will be chomping at the bit to get going tomorrow!

First, and most importantly, here's the link to the spreadsheet

You'll see that it's now got a bit of colour coding going on. There are several posters who have said that they don't want to be on the spreadsheet, so they are on there, but greyed out - so I know who is/isn't wanting to talk about their weight.

If you're said you're a vegetarian, your row will be coloured green; this is important, so that we know how to advise you about foods (or rather, not to tell you off if you're eating nuts/fruit/seeds when you're allowed to, as a veggie!)

If you haven't seen the spreadsheet before - or even if you have! - have a good look around it. As well as Bootcamp rules, there's loads of helpful information on there (look at the tabs at the bottom). I've revised the vegetable carb count, which now includes some more veg.

If there's anything that isn't clear

Down to 175.1 lbs (can’t log it in spreadsheet today as not on my computer and my phone isn’t logged into a Google account!)
next couple of days has the potential for the wheels to fall off, lots of travel plus a hospital stay, we shall see!
breakfast is a spinach and cheese omelette this morn, getting a bit bored of my usual cloud bread breakfasts so changing up the egg style!

Morning all! I was very good all week and then fell off the wagon spectacularly over the weekend. Bloody kids' birthdays! So many simple carbs to avoid. However, feel very annoyed with myself and WILL do better this week.

@Rhabarberbarbara ive popped it on the spreadsheet for you as it’s so good to keep track! Hope Hosp stay goes on track. I was in a week ago and they did have salads. But I also gained whilst there, which I expect was water and the gas they pumped me up with. Plus effects of anaesthesia.
Im down to 154.2, today so lost 4.8lbs this week but as I say I think a lot of that was surgery weight.

Thank you!

@Wallywobbles for the fish pie, I chop half a chroizo into chunks and then fry with butter until it's a bit crispy, then add the fish pie mix to the pan along with some full fat soft cheese (the amount can depend as the spinach is very wet when it's added so start with a couple of big spoonfuls and see how it is). A handful of frozen spinach balls with 2 quartered hardboiled eggs go in and once the spinach is defrosted and it looks a decent consistency take off the hear. I prefer mine to be quite dry but it depends on how you like a pie filling to be 😊. While that's going on cook your cauliflower through and then "mash" with butter and pepper - I don't add salt as the chorizo and butter are enough for me. Put the pie filling into your dish, spoon the mash on top and do the fork thing, a handful of grated cheddar over the top and oven bake until bubbly.
Nowhere near traditional but yummy all the same - you could add prawns into the mix, or swap the chorizo for bacon, it's really versatile.......

I'm determined not to wobble this week!

B - yoghurt and cream
L - butcher's sausages, egg and asparagus
D - chilli and mint halloumi, avocado, salad and sour cream dip
Snack - Babybel to ward off the hometime munchies.
And 2L water 😇
