Morning campers

Here's the spreadsheet

So this week marks the end of the first half - doesn't time fly when you're having fun?!

Remember that this week is still renowned as a tricky one in terms of weight loss, so if things have slowed down or stopped (or even reversed) for you, don't panic. Just KOKO - remembering the water, fat and veg in particular.

Re the statins @MotherBuckets, I'm not a medic - so if your GP has advised them, it would be irresponsible of me to warn against them (especially with your family history). But as you say, it will be interesting to see what happens as a result of low carbing (although it will be difficult to attribute any improvement to either diet or medication, I suppose). And hopefully your results will be good @Jenasaurus

@JanieRead - apart from the noodles! - why don't you list out for me your menus over the last few days, and let's see if there's something we can spot that might help you

@mimosa1 I'm going on holiday in April and would like to lose 5kg by then. It feels rather ambitious as I've definitely plateau'd over the last fortnight, and DH is teetering on giving up.

Just watched a brilliant Indian movie that was all about food - had to resist ordering a takeaway!

Unexpected NSV for me this evening.

One of my milestones is to fit into the one of my late mother's frocks which I have kept. It is a perfect colour and style for me but was always impossibly small. DM and I were quite similar shape but since I lived independently of her regime, I put on a lot of weight.

Thanks to you lovely people and LCBC, it now fits me perfectly. Slight regret that I never managed this in her lifetime so she could see it, but better late than never, eh?

Sentimentally, I think of it as a tribute to her and what I have learned, which is mostly that her low fat regime didn't really suit me at all. It was possible to manage my weight low-fat low calorie but OMGoodness it was a constant struggle and resistance to restriction.

Love love love LCHF and you lovely people

FinallyHere that’s such a lovely way to remember your mother, so pleased for you.
Rayna37 what an achievement and as someone else said it is very motivating to see your graph, congratulations.
