Many apologies for the late start this week. We have family here, and I've spent this morning fixing Lego, watching CBeebies and making toast, coffee, coffee, tea and more coffee!

Anyway, here as ever, is the Spreadsheet

Hope everyone had a good week, and here's looking forward to a good week 5 - hopefully we're now out of the doldrums of weeks 3 & 4!

@GingerAndLemonn Hi, welcome. you have been added to the spreadsheet. Let me know if you have any questions about the spreadsheet.

Glad to see you over here, I think we interacted on another thread

ImAvingOops · 27/08/2022 07:40

Hi all, just checking in. Haven't read the thread yet but will catch up later. Haven't weighed and it's all gone to pot - I have covid and my period and I'm staying at my sister's house (she doesn't own scales). Will try to get back on track once I'm home and can face food!

Hope all is going well for everyone else - I will go back and catch up asap

Hi all. I would like to join. I have been back on this WOE for the last two weeks and have been reading all the threads since the start of this bootcamp. Thanks to @BIWI for all the effort that goes into this and to everyone who posts regularly with so much support and advice. I’m 6lbs down in my first 2week and feeling so much better generally. I have done it before so I don’t know why I strayed so far. Back now! If it’s not too late please can I be added to the spread sheet @FinallyHere ?

FinallyHere · 27/08/2022 09:07

@Jollyholibobs welcome, I'm on it now

Jollyholibobs · 27/08/2022 09:08

Got home last night from a lovely break in Bath with some girlfriends.
I did try to stick with BC. I did have one spritz type cocktail that was included with out dinner in the Pumproom but stuck with dry white wine and Prosecco the rest of the time.
I just had too much food and alcohol even if it was of the right type.
going to have another strict week but going to a festival next week so a third challenging weekend in a row for me. But all lovely trips so I can’t complain.

Lougle · 28/08/2022 20:55

@ChimneyPot at least you had a nice time! Well done for sticking to plan.

I'm still chugging away. Not expecting a loss this week, possibly a small gain, but trying to find the balance now, rather than lose.

@ChairOfInvisibleStudies I'm coming late to this (have been awol for a couple of weeks) but my advice is to beware of combining THIS way of eating (high fat) with a 'normal' Uk food diet which has lots of carbs. It will not go well.

If you're in a situation where carbs (even very healthy ones like lentils / brown rice / sweet potato) are included, then just join in the low fat movement. And small portions.

Notice how hungry you feel. And rejoice when you can rejoin bootcamp!

loopylu26 · 30/08/2022 16:57

A late check-in as well. 1.5lb loss for me with just over 11lbs overall so quite pleased. Like many others I'm now beginning to notice a loss, my double chin is almost gone, clothes are now much more comfortable and when I look in the mirror I don't look as overweight.

Reading with interest everyone's slow cooker ideas. I just tend to use mine to cook a gammon or on a lazy or busy Sunday beef in gravy.

comfortablyfrumpy · 30/08/2022 23:41

STS this week but still feeling slimmer so not overly concerned. I know I'm due a loss, I've plateaued before...

I have now mastered low carb bread and absolutely loving it, it's lush! (I do restrict myself, don't worry!).
I know BMI isn't much of a guide, but I'm just on the cusp now of Normal. I suspect things will get slower now I've lost the initial "bulk" - but I'll keep going!

@loopylu26 and @comfortablyfrumpy you're posting on the wrong thread!
