Can someone check this recipe for me please?

Could anyone with a bit more experience than me look at this recipe for me. Trying to think of things to batch make before bootcamp.
Obviously the flour will have to go so ill think of another way of thickening it.
I was going to use chorizo instead of sausage.
Are there any other changes I can make? Should I leave out the onion powder?

It's only 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder, so I can't see that would be a problem.

But I'd definitely switch the onions themselves for shallots - I don't know how much 3 cups of onions would weigh (I'm pretty clueless when it comes to cup measurements!), but it does sound a lot. Onions are pretty carby at 7.9g carbs per 100g, whereas shallots are only 3.3g.

Get the banana or echalion shallots rather than the fiddly little round ones as they're much easier to peel.

It sounds like the recipe is asking for quite a lot of flour, and there really isn't another thickening agent that would be Bootcamp-friendly, so it could be worth reducing the amount of stock that you're using in the first place.
