Evening/morning all

So this is our last week. It's been a shorter Bootcamp than normal, but I hope it's worked for you. Something a bit of an experiment too! Let me know (by PM) if it's worked or not worked for you.

As ever, here's the link to the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

There are some seriously great results here!

We're now in the run up to Christmas, which I know can be very difficult if you're trying to maintain a low carb diet. But we will always have a chat thread going here, so please post if you need help or just want to vent.

And remember, of course, that we still have another week to wrest with the scales/the tape measure! Grin

Here's to a successful, final week Flowers

Oh God @Jollyholibobs that dream brought me out in a cold sweat - I'm often lost and late in my anxiety dreams. And of course sometimes naked Grin.

And yes the pate turns out in a beautiful 'ooooh' centrepiece which you can tart up with lemon / parsley / salad / cucumber then when it's warmed up a touch (the pate is more flavourful when not fridge cold) it slices very nicely. We often have it as Xmas day starter or on Cmas eve / Boxing Day buffet.

Long run for me - felt invincible! Fat adapted well and truly - 9 miles with no fuel since dinner about 7pm last night.

Had a very Christmassy lunch - smoked salmon, salmon mousse thing from Waitrose, farmhouse pate all on cucumber slices and little
Gem boats.

Dinner was outstanding - slow roasted shoulder of lamb with garden kale (fresh) garden beans from freezer and a garden baked potato squash. Ooh and shoogled sprouts (which I nearly forgot!). Family had mash and carrots - I've yet to convince them of the wonders of celeriac mash although I keep trying!

Just want to wish all bootcampers a very Happy and healthy festive season.

See you on the ongoing thread and on a 2022 bootcamp.

Thanks @BIWI for everything you do

I made pork & fennel meatballs in a fennel & tomato sauce, topped with mozzarella and Parmesan for supper tonight (adapted from a Sainsbury's magazine recipe: omitted the honey and swapped with breadcrumbs with a smaller amount of ground almonds). Was going to do celeriac mash with it but ran out of time so just did thinly sliced leeks in butter and some roasted asparagus. Dh and my dad had some pasta.

Made the cardamom and orange chocolate pots (in the desserts recipe thread) for dessert. Because I did a half quantity so that there weren't too many extra for me to eat over the coming days Wink the chocolate had semi-set before I folded in the egg white - but that actually made them more interesting Smile
