Comfort food when unwell

The sickness bug has hit my family and although I’ve not actually been sick I have felt nauseous (possibly through anxiety) since Monday when the first person went down with it. I’m finding it hard to eat and especially hard to eat low carb options. Previously I’d have just had the odd slice of toast. But now I’m just not really eating much at all which I know isn’t good for me. I’ve lost about a stone these past 3/4 weeks and I want to keep on losing as I’ve another 2 to go.
Any advice?

TBH, I'd just eat whatever makes you feel better, and that you can stomach. The odd slice of toast here and there won't harm - in the long run.

However, I can understand that you might not want to do that - so what about making yourself some soup? Or some scrambled eggs?

You're quite right that it's important to eat something as you need to help your body recover.

Sorry to hear you're ill Flowers

I had a nasty bout of D&V the other week, and apart from trying to sip a lot of water I found white toast helped and this. Don't what is is about it, but it's definitely my go-to when feeling unwell.

Soup - chicken noodles (without the noodles) , cauliflower cheese, or tortilla. I have made all these soups in the past 2 weeks and all make feel better.
