Quick bootcamp breakfast question

I’ve been toying with the idea of having a go at low carb and noticed a comment on a thread that, during bootcamp, breakfast should not be skipped. Does anyone know why this is? I currently do the 16:8 version of IF on weekdays and control my weight fairly well this way (evidently not quite well enough though!) so am very used to skipping breakfast without any problem. Thanks!

It's only a rule for the first two weeks of Bootcamp. It's to ensure that people are eating regularly, so controlling their blood sugar levels. And to make sure that they're not hungry - which leads to all manner of temptations!

Once people are fat-adapted, which should have happened/nearly happened after the first two weeks, then appetite will diminish, and breakfast (or any other meal) can be dropped.

If you're already used to fasting, then there's no reason why you should go back to having breakfast though!

That makes sense - thanks for the explanation.
