Yes me! Combining it with intermittent fasting (20:4) though so won't be eating until about 3.30/4. Having lamb curry for tea with a load of green veg. We're (hopefully) going on holiday at Easter so plan is to lose 2 stone by then.

Suppose today is my first 'serious' day, yesterday was my first full day in ages and ages having no sweets or chocolate whatsoever. So felt strong to get stuck in properly today.

Had scrambled eggs this morning, I mixed in green beans, kale, smoked salmon and garlicky cream cheese. A scramble/omelette hybrid. Looked a mess but tasted nice and keeping me full all day.

I started on the 1st. Still finding my feet as this is totally new.

Today I had
B scrambled eggs and a dash of double cream
L salmon fillet with lettuce and courgette with olive oil
D will be steak and veg cooked in butter.
1 brew with a dash of milk and lemon

I'm drinking 4lts of water a day. 4. I feel like I'm constantly drinking and I'm not particularly enjoying it! I've not been well and I'm so dehydrated it's unreal - how I don't know on 4lts of water a day!!

I had a small amount of Greek yoghurt to take some tablets this afternoon - never had FF before.. I may just live on that Grin

MakeWorkYourNewFavourite · 04/01/2021 17:53

My first attempt today. I lost 3 stone between September and December. Then put on 8 pounds and lost them again in December.
Had a "do what the hell I like" weekend. Back up 2 pounds!
Today, I'm finding it hard. I'm freezing cold and moody. Aubergine/tofu/cheddar modgey thing for lunch. Now having boiled eggs on keto bread. A lot of calories today. Plus, I can't drink water when I'm this cold and grumpy.

ChristMyArse · 04/01/2021 19:20

@MakeWorkYourNewFavourite 3 stone in that time frame is marvellous! Well done 👍🏻

VeryLittleOwl · 04/01/2021 20:26

Yup, restarted yesterday and am delighted at how easily I've come back off carbs and sugar. Usually getting going after a lapse is really, really hard for me.

flippyfloppy · 05/01/2021 08:25

Started yesterday, had great success with this two years ago but small habits have kicked in and probably have about a stone to lose.

Two Fried eggs and left over deli meats
Prawn/avo salad
Slices chicken
Bolegnaise in stuffed peppers
Greek yoghurt

Will use this thread to try and keep me focussed! Thank you 😊

VeryLittleOwl · 05/01/2021 08:29

2lbs of water weight ditched in 24 hours Grin No wonder I was feeling dizzy yesterday!

NotwatchingSpooks · 05/01/2021 09:40

I started again on Monday too. :)
40lb down - probably 20 to go.

Water
I have 3 litres but am having more of them warm at the moment. I like a mint tea bag in hot or cold water and love the Redbush with fig.
Breakfasts
FF Greek yogurt and a spoon of extra thick cream

eggs and butter in all forms

Bacon 'roll' (on that very low carb 'bread' as discovered by BIWI et al on last bootcamp- good but to be an occasional thing because a bit processed ) with watercress/lettuce and butter

'toast' and butter and marmite (made with the same very low carb 'bread')
Coffee and cream

Lunches
Enjoying Nigella's broccoli and blue cheese soup (made it with left-overs from the New Year cheese-board am eating it for lunches)

Made a big Spanish omlette on Mon (no potato) and cut into pieces to have cold for lunches or if hungry. These are usually a great stand-by but seem a bit chilly in present conditions. (They are probably better in Spanish conditions.)

Cheese toasted onto green pepper/aubergine slices

Mains - cooked for family too

Chicken thighs and drumsticks baked until crispy with lemon slices seasalt and olive oil - served with roasted sprouts and roasted smoked paprika covered aubergine cubes. (Others had sweet potato wedges with this)

Halloumi and cauliflower curry (the others had wraps with this)

Beef in creamy stragonoff type sauce served over cauliflower/spinach (The others had it with pasta and love it.)

1WayOrAnother2 · 07/01/2021 14:13

(Not 40lb down since monday :) )

Cocolapew · 07/01/2021 14:18

I've been doing it a week and am down just over 4lbs. Im a newbie at it so I'm marking my place to see what everyone is eating Smile

BIWI · 07/01/2021 14:20

A Bootcamp without me?! Shock

Wink
BIWI · 07/01/2021 14:21

@ChristMyArse if you're still thirsty despite drinking all that water, it's a sign you need more salt.

1WayOrAnother2 · 07/01/2021 15:47

I'm just one of those lagging behind on the last bootcamp BIWI :)
(Getting fitter slowly -puff - puff...)
