Help with going law carb/low sugar please?

Went to the Dr's today to discuss why, despite losing over 5 stone in weight, hardly anything has changed on my bottom half.
He explained that we all basically have too much sugar in our diet, especially from carbs. The only way to reduce this type of weight is to go low carb/low sugar. I should be aiming for 25g of sugar each day, but a banana for instance is 15g, so it's not a huge amount!
Has anyone successfully done this? I was 1all for it this morning, but it's all a bit daunting now.

Well, you've posted in the low carb Bootcamp topic, so why don't you have a look at low carbing? We''re in week 4 (of 10) right now, but you're very welcome to join us!

There should be a stickied thread in the topic about Bootcamp rules, so have a read of those and see what you think.

It can be a bit daunting at first, because it's such a different way of eating - and it will feel counter-intuitive to start with, as you're encouraged not only to keep your carbs (aka sugar) low but also to increase your fat intake.

But it definitely works!

Well done, though, on losing 5 stone so far. That's a great achievement.

How are you feeling about starting it? I’m just about to start too and it is very daunting and I literally have no idea where to start!!

Have you had any progress?
