I'd really like to join but I have a 4 night holiday abroad 21/5-25/5.
I know I'll not 100% stick to it while I'm away (drinking alcohol mainly!) is there any point me joining or should I wait until the next one?

I've tried going low carb before, and crashed on day two/three when I've not had something good to snack on to get me over the cravings. So I'm using this week to clear out the cupboards and fill them up with low carb options. I've purchased some of those naked noodles, that are really low in carbs. For the first few weeks, what do people suggest as breakfast alternatives? Bearing in mind that I'm terribly disorganised in the mornings and pretty much need something that I can either prep the night before or can just pull out of the fridge/cupboard and eat. I know we're supposed to avoid processed meats, so eggs and bacon/ham aren't supposed to be the go to options.

I'm doing a big vegetable shop on the weekend, so it's fresh for the week. I've got some tinned tuna and will get some chicken and eggs for lunch time salads, etc, that's not a problem. Dinner I can get my head around easily enough. It's breakfast (and I suppose snacks) that will scupper me.... It doesn't necessarily have to be 'breakfasty', I'm not a stickler for that.

For breakfast - eggs in some form are always good and easy to prepare.

Nothing wrong with bacon and/or (low carb) sausages every now and then.

Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon or mushrooms, or just with cheese stirred through them.

Full fat Greek yoghurt (plain) on its own, or with a bit of cinnamon or vanilla extract.

Try a continental breakfast of cold meats and cheese.

or - just have leftovers from dinner the night before!

But well done you for thinking ahead. This is a tough WOE if you're not prepared.

I am wondering about adapting my roast dinner. Happy to drop the potatoes and Yorkshire. I can't add any flour to make gravy though can i? Would you just reduce the stock to thicken it?
