Psyllium husk powder for constipation.

I've just ordered psyllium husk powder to see if it'll shift me. 4 weeks with very little movement or production, I need something extra. Can any other LCers using it give me instructions about dose and how you take it? TIA

Magnesium helps keep everything regular and relieves constipation for a lot of people. Too much can give you diarrhea in fact. Something I recently discovered: extra virgin olive oil (I use felippo berio) makes everything super smooth and gives “the perfect poop”. No more constipation struggles (2-4 tbsp per day with food is perfect for me).

Lastly I’m not sure adding fibre to an already backed up system will help much (it’s quite dry) UNLESS you add the oil I was talking about xx
